چکیده
Background/aim: In this study, we aimed to investigate different types of celiac antibodies in psoriasis patients and see if the presence was associated with other variables. Materials methods: We included plaque who were followed up our dermatology clinic between February 2019 2021 added a healthy control group for comparison. The studied serum antitissue transglutaminase (tTG)-IgA, tTG-IgG, antigliadin antibody (AGA)-IgA, AGA-IgG. patients' records used note age, sex, pattern involvement, area severity index (PASI), hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, use methotrexate, biologic agents. Results: Sixty-five (31 F, 34 M, mean age: 38.9 - 15.2) 65 controls (42 23 40.7 13.2) study. There no significant difference levels groups: tTG-IgA (2.4 U/mL vs 3.2 U/mL, p = 0.11), tTG-IgG (2.2 0.74), AGA-IgA 3.5 0.068), AGA-IgG (3.2 4.2 0.15). One patient from only had borderline positive whereas rest negative levels. Hypertensive significantly higher titers compared normotensive (4.2 2.3 0.005). Conclusion: increase AGA-IgA/IgG tTG-IgA/IgG population. However, hypertensive ones.

INTRODUCTION Epidemiological studies have suggested that patients with psoriasis are at an increased risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. Chronic inflammation may play a role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis in psoriasis patients. Recent studies have evaluated the expression of plasma endocan and homocysteine levels. Endocan is a marker of vascular endothelial damage, and homocyste...

Psoriasis is frequently associated with obesity, which may favor the development of hyperuricemia. Hyperuricemia predisposes patients to gout arthritis and is an emerging cardiovascular risk factor. In this study, we investigated the prevalence of hyperuricemia and serum uric acid (SUA) levels in psoriatic patients. SUA was measured in consecutive psoriatic patients (n = 338) and prevalence of ...

OBJECTIVE To evaluate and compare the sensitivity and specificity of the new serologic marker human antitissue transglutaminase antibodies (IgA anti-tTG) with those of antiendomysium (IgA EMA) and antigliadin antibodies (IgA and IgG AGA) for the diagnosis of celiac disease (CD). METHODS The level of IgA antibodies to tTG in serum was determined by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) ...
